Book Sale Donations
Thank you! Your generous donation of lightly used items makes our book sale a success year after year.
Drop-offs will be accepted at these library locations during their open hours:
Main Library, Westminster Square Branch, East Side Branch
Starting the week of September 14, you will be able to drop off your donations at the Bamco site, 440 Elmira Rd. N.:
Mondays and Tuesdays – 6pm to 8pm
Thursdays – 1pm – 4pm
Fridays and Saturdays – 10am-1pm
NO drop off on Wednesdays and Sundays
Sorry, we are unable to pick up donations. Drop off only.
Last drop off date all locations – October 9
Condition Guidelines:
We gratefully accept items that are in clean, saleable condition. Items that contain water-damaged, yellowed or torn pages, are missing pages/pieces, or smell musty, smoky or moldy, may be declined at the time of donation.
We gratefully accept these items:
- Fiction, non-fiction, and graphic novels for readers of all ages
- Hardcover, paperback, large-format paperback, and large-print books
- Textbooks published within the last 10 years
- Antiquarian, Rare, and Collectible books
- Board games, video games, and puzzles (complete and in working/playable condition)
- CDs, vinyl records, and sheet music
- DVDs and Blu-ray discs
Unfortunately, we cannot accept:
- Encyclopedia sets
- Magazines of any kind (including National Geographic)
- Reader’s Digest condensed books
- Scholarly or academic journals and periodicals
- Out of date books (published before 2016): Travel Guides, Business Books, Computer Books, Tax Guides, or Health Books
- Books on CD, Cassette tapes (including books on tape),VHS tapes
